Singer JJC proposes to Funke Akindele

It all started with Monalisa Chinda taking another shot at marriage this year, 2016, now another popular actress, Funke Akindele is about taking same bold step.
The actress better known as Jenifa said a resounding ‘Yes’ to multi-talented musician, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz when he recently popped the big question of marriage.

It was gathered that the overwhelmed actress was moved to tears and speechless, when her singer lover went down on one knee and presented to her a beautiful ring.
More sources confirmed that the surprise proposal took place few weeks ago in Lekki on the set of her new TV Comedy Drama, Jenifa’s Diary.

Funke Akindele has remained single after separating from her hubby, Kehinde Almaroof in 2013 under very controversial circumstances. JJC Skillz is a single father of three children, ages 18, 15 and 10 from three different women.
The couple has managed to hide their blossoming romance away from the public until some few weeks ago when Nigeriafilms.com reported it.

Rapper and Dance Cynthia Morgan, who is signed to Psquare brother Jude Okoyes’s record label Northside Music, today, Thursday, February 25, 2016, penned an open letter to Psquare, asking the hip hop signing duo to end their beef and return to the studio.
Recall the rapper was on February 16, 2016 accused of being pregnant for Jude Okoye, which was believed to be the reason behind the issues currently rocking the Psquare brand, an allegation she denied through Social Media network, Twitter.
“Sounds like the Immaculate Conception. Please stop Already guys. Thank you. FYI I am not pregnant for Mr. Jude Okoye, My Boss. My relationship with him is Strictly Business and Highly Professional. Thank you”. She tweeted.

Meanwhile, on that same day, Peter took to Social Media network Twitter, demanding the immediate termination of Jude Okoye’s contract as the manager of Psquare.
“I don’t have a problem with Paul but the management. My loyalty for psquare and the fans still remains 100%” he stated before adding “A manager is been employed by the artiste not the other way round. #truthBeTold. Pls who so ever makes any transaction with Northside Entertainment or Jude Okoye on Psquare’s behalf does so at their on risk. #warning.If you are still doubting that Peter Okoye is fed up of Jude Okoye the pop star also tweeted this about the family run business “Family business can be pain in the a$$.” Peter tweeted.

However, Cynthia Morgan took to Social media network, Instagram, demanding that Psquare get back together as the fans can’t wait to hear their new song as well as their next dope music video.

Nollywood actress, Mojisola Olaiya, has finally spill the beans of what led to the failure of her second
marriage after keeping silent for so long. While recalling some of the scenarios that transpired while wanting to give marriage another opportunity, the actress disclosed that her daughter never liked the new man she fell in love with as  she asked what if the man beats her and it took her some time to convince her daughter that she will be accepted.

According to the actress while disclosing the reason on Foluke Daramola’s programme ‘After
The Morning,’ which was monitored by Nigeriafilms.com, said the new man she fell in love with promised to care for her daughter but after the marriage, he started giving the child attitude.
She narrated that since her daughter was staying with the granny because of her school, any time
she comes to the house, she is not always comfortable and she goes to granny to report what the new father was doing to her and at a point her mother was not comfortable neither was she herself.
In her words, “My daughter never liked the new man I fell in love with even when the man was ready to accept her as his child. She asked me that “mummy hope the man will not beat me at the
end?”
“My daughter was staying with her granny and after I married my man, anytime she comes to the house, she was not always comfortable. It continued like this and she goes back to report to my mother of what was going on. My mother became worried and we talked about it because I so much love my daughter and the man that promised her all the care and love suddenly changed, so, the truth is I left the marriage because of my daughter, because the man I was in love with did not accept her.”

Jonathan congratulates Shagari on 91st birthday

Alhaji Shehu Shagari has received a powerful message from former President Goodluck Jonathan as he celebrates his 91st birthday today,  February 25.

Vanguard reports that Jonathan described the former president as an inspiration to Nigeria. In a message issued by Ikechukwu Eze who is the media adviser to Jonathan on February 24, Jonathan said Shagari’s commitment to peace and development was an inspiration to a lot of Nigerians.
“I am glad the Almighty Allah has blessed you with long life and good health, in line with your selfless dedication to noble causes and human progress.

“You have been of immense blessing to Nigeria while serving her in various capacities as a teacher, nationalist, politician and statesman.

Jonathan prayed to God to grant Shagari more productive years ABUJA—Former President
Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated the nation’s first Executive President, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, as
he turns 91 today, describing him as an inspiration to many Nigerians.

Jonathan, who made this known in a statement issued yesterday by Ikechukwu Eze, his media
adviser, described Shagari as a blessing to the nation.

He added that Shagari’s long-standing commitment to peace and development would
continue to inspire many Nigerians to offer their best to their fatherland.

Buhari Rejects Offer To Join Of Islamic state coalition,

 

 Reports say President Muhammadu Buhari shocked the Saudi Arabian government by turning down a
request to join the Coalition of Islamic States to fight against terror.
According to This Day, Buhari, who is on a week-long visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, stylishly rejected the
request by his host and ruler of Saudi Arabia, King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz, to join the coalition.

Speaking at a bilateral meeting between the countries, Buhari said that Nigeria would rather support them than join the coalition.

After congratulating the Saudi Kingdom on the formation of the coalition, Buhari said: “Even if we
are not a part of it, we support you.I must thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the recent creation of a
coalition to address the menace of international terrorism.Nigeria will support your efforts in keeping peace and stopping the spread of terror in your region.

 This is in consonance with our own commitment and on-going efforts in seeking to stamp out Boko Haram terrorists from the West African sub-region and Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).”
