Give Us Permission To Fight Boko-Haram With Witchcraft – Cameroonian Chiefs To President

Chiefs of Cameroon’s East Region have called on President Paul Biya, to grant them the permission to fight off Nigeria Islamic Militants, Boko Haram using witchcraft. It can be recalled that the Cameroonian army over the weekend dispersed a gang of over 50 Boko Haram jihadists who planned attack on Ashigashiya, killing 15 and capturing 2 members of the dreaded group. According to an International investigative journalist, Chief Bisong Etahoben, the Cameroonian East Region Chiefs made this request on Monday. “Chiefs of Cameroon’s East Region ask President Biya to grant them permission to use witchcraft in finishing off Boko Haram”. Etahoben tweeted. Although President of the country, President Paul Biya, is yet to grant them the permission they desire, governor of Far North Region of the country, Miyazawa Bakari, has thrown his hat behind the Chiefs, as they search for means to end the Islamic Militant group. Recall the Islamic militants began stepping up their attacks early last year on neighbouring Cameroon and other countries that have supported the Nigerian military’s effort to crush Boko Haram. The extremist group’s six-year insurgency has killed about 20,000 people and displaced 2.3 million, according to Amnesty International and the United Nations.
